Brief
GHS: The central program - handles all stability computations.
FL: Floodable Lengths - mainly for preliminary design (GHS also does damaged stability analysis by flooding any choosen compartmens).
LS: Longitudinal Strength - sheer, bending, stress and deflection.
TS: Tank Soundings - special-formats (GHS does soundings generally).
LE: Load Editor - a timesaver for working out loading conditions.
AF: Advanced Features - includes IMO probabilistic damage.
PM: Part Maker - easily models vessel internal & external parts
HM: Hull Maker - makes certain hull models very quickly.
 
Uses
Used to analyze and/or design submarines, SWATHs, dry docks, drilling platforms, 10-foot sailboats, 300-meter freighters, floating bridges and a floating golf course. GHS churns out intermediate stages of flooding, simulating the spilling of cargo and optimizing against complex stability criteria - automatically.
